The PCI Security Standards Council has released a major update to the PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) transitioning from v3.2.1 to v4.0. The updates in version 4.0 are extensive and have been under review for over two years. As the cybersecurity landscape continues to become more complex, many of the changes in the Standard are designed to address the challenges we are seeing around us.
